ok im not really pretty,cute,or anything like that. but i REALLY want 2 be. i have heard people saying beauty is only skin deep and stuff and ive tried 2 go by that. but its gotten hard. i want to be pretty really badly but i dont know how. i was told that there are very few ugly people in the world just those that dontknow how to be pretty or something like that.i want to knwo how. kinda like that thing on princess diaries where she was unnatractive at first but then found a way to be pretty. anyways i need help with this so please do help. also just to let u know ive seen these other things and they have stuff to do with abercrombie and stuuf so i wanted to let u know i am more emo or gothic and i want to keep it that way. so can u try not to suggest things like abercrombie or anything. please and thank you

Reply:it is definitely skin deep. boosting your confidence will make a huge difference. so first, i would recommend talking to a stylist about hair and make up. they can tell you what kind of hair style would not only look great on you but also satisfy your emo/punk vibe. she can also make small adjustments (for example, if you have think eyebrows like i do, she can shape them a bit! with beauty, sometimes the smallest things make a BIG difference!). and finally, she could tell you what color and shade of makeup would look great on you. with a bit of creativity and trial-and-error, you could find an awesome emo look. i recommend staying away from VERY dark colors with the make up. usually it will wash out the rest of the color in your face! try a smokey eyed look that has enough darkness to draw the eyes up to yours but has color so it brings out your eyes.
but MOST importantly, BE YOURSELF. find a way to be confident in yourself, something that makes you feel good. because kindness, even physically (which a lot of people don't know!), shows up in your beauty.

Illegal Immigration: an issue of race?
okay, so most of you people say that you hate the illegal immigrants for the fact that they broke the laws.. which, even I, think is an understandable argument..
but I believe that most americans only look skin deep when it comes to this issue..
if it was a problem with canada: twenty-million english speaking white people conveniently moving themselves and their families into our country, would you care? or would you even notice?
I think that a lot of you people really need to look past the language barrier and the color of skin and you will see that the latino immigrants are just looking for a better life.. one that they can't afford to get legally because of the horrible wages of their home countries...
I'm all for the amnesty movement.. they want what everyone else wants... a better life...
