How long do cuts take to heal?

I accidentaly ran into a door and got a cutish thing on my forehead...how long will it take to heal? it's just skin deep...

Heh... I've done that once. It hurt quite a bit, but it only took a week or so to heal. Just put some antiseptic on it, and don't pick at the scab. If it's a very large cut, then you may want to call your doctor. However, if it's a small cut, then put some antibiotic on it (Neosporin, some doctors may also give you prescription ones if you have skin conditions) and don't cover it with a bandage. I've tried, and unless lint and dust keep sticking to it, then it just makes the healing time longer.

Reply:yeah, just don't pick at it when it is healing over. Then it would scar and not look good on a forehead. And put some kind of ointment on it....vitamin E works well.
Reply:If you keep it bandaged, 8-10 days. If you don't keep it bandaged it will take a couple days longer.
