Reply:golden
Reply:baby pink goes nice, or a nice shimmering coffee gloss, i have olive skin and love light brown on my lips.
Reply:i think a peachy/pink lipgloss would be good- if you wear a lot of make-up by your eyes you should keep your lips toned down.
Reply:tyr either a deep red, or a burgndy brown
Reply:A really light pink lip gloss would look nice and natural not a bright pink though.
Reply:Okay. All you need to wear is a glistening lip gloss and light purple eye shadow with some mascara and eye liner. I am a little like you with the eyes. Just don't over kill with the eye makeup. Less is more.
Reply:I would say to try a frost. Not sure if will work for you or not but its worth a shot. I like to use colors with chocolate or coffee names such as mocha,
capuchino and so on. You might also try bronzers. Good luck!
Reply:what will help more than lipstick is blush....i have a similiar appearance to yours and i like to use the blush color wheels - they have a patchwork of colors - go with the shades of dark brown - and apply to the "apple" of your cheeck bone.
but since u asked about lipstick....a soft cotton candy pink with light shimmer will do the trick.....
also...u might want to look into sunless tanning, it is actually very affordable - under $30 a session most places and if u buy multiple sessions u get a discount - i bought 4 for $50 and even got a free sunless tanning kit! tanning has really boosted my confidence and makes my body look great!
Reply:The best the thoes brownish nude colours. Maybelline and Revlone has nice nude colours!
Reply:I advice you to use bronze or gold shades but try this makeup tips for over all.. pretty effect:
A good foundation is the key to clever make-up for a dark complexioned woman. By 'foundation', it refers to the base of your make-up. This includes concealer, foundation, and powder. When you're decorating a room, you don't just slap the new paint onto the old without first scraping off the unwanted wallpaper, and cleaning down the paintwork. You need a good base from which to apply the colors that you have chosen - and this goes for make-up, too.
Cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin, then apply the concealer, foundation, and the powder to create a smooth base - you can then apply choose a suitable colour for a blush followed by eye make up and lipstick to complete the task.
Understand the coloring of your skin tone:
Light
If you have an ivory or porcelain complexion, then your skin tone is Light.
Light-Medium
If you have a rose beige, light olive, or ash brown complexion, then your skin tone is Light-Medium.
Medium-Dark
If you have a yellow-beige, medium olive or rose-brown skin, then your skin tone is Medium-Dark.
Dark
If you have a dark olive, bronze, rich beige or black complexion, then your skin tone is Dark.
Summer / Winter-Dark Skin
You have cool skin tones, with a pink or blue undertone, and make-up that echoes these tones will make you look healthy and alive. Avoid honey-based cosmetics that could make you look yellow and extremely unwell!
Spring / Autumn-Dark Skin
You have warm skin tones, with a golden or honey tone and make-up that echoes these tones will make you look healthy and alive. Avoid blue-based cosmetics that could make you look rather grey and drawn!

Spring / Autumn Natural Beige Natural Beige Natural
Liquid Concealer Medium Medium
Loose Powder Translucent Translucent
Pressed Powder Translucent Translucent
# Ivory, Ivory Beige, and Natural Beige foundations have a definite warm tone to them
# Pink Beige, Pink Blush, Rose Glaze and Winter Rose are for cooler skin tones
Natural foundation is a bit of an enigma. It looks great on its own on a darker complexion and suits both warm and cool skins but, when mixed with any of the other 7 shades, it adds a sparkle to your face - especially good for party time. Liquid concealer can be applied before or after your foundation. Translucent powder will 'set' your make-up.It will last longer and will not add any color to what's already there. Apply loose powder with a large brush. Pressed powder comes with its own powder pad.
Choose the right color blusher for dark skin
For your blush, you should choose colors from coral, rose, deep orange. Avoid browns for blush-on. For very dark skin, try a dark rose pink color for the day and shades of bronze, plum and wine for the night. Blend the blusher over the cheekbones, as it helps to brighten the skin tone. For special occasions at night, use a touch of gold. It can really look glamorous on dark skins.
Eye makeup for dark and dusky complexion
Dark skin tone looks great with dark purple and blue colors on eyes. Dark metallic colors also look good. Silver around your eye will make them stand out and look brilliant. Finish your eyes with black eyeliner and black mascara.
If you wish to use eye shadow, avoid white or very light colors. A gold eye shadow would be complimentary where as silver one may not look good. It can be very effective on dark skins when used on the bridge of the nose, around the eye area, above the cheekbones and just above the upper lip.
Lipsticks for dark complexion
If you have a dark skin stick to warm, earthy colors. Gold, bronze and maroon color lipsticks are in fact best for dusky skins. Cooler colors like mauve, pink and silver look better on fairer skins.
Choose lipsticks with matte finish rather than frosted ones. The shades should not be too dark or too light. Medium dull shades would look best. Bright pinks or reds are an absolutely no. If you have dark lips, before applying lipstick, put some foundation and powder on your lips.
Your blusher too should not be pinkish. Peachish blushers work best on dusky complexion. A gold eye shadow would be complimentary where as silver one may not look good.
So these are some of the basic make up tips for those who have a dark complexion. No worries, you have a lot more to add on to these few tips to make yourself as attractive as never before.
Hope this will help you gud luck!..
