The Truth behind beauty?

Many people say that beauty is only skin deep. Some say that it's the skin that makes beautiful. There are all sorts of philosophies on what makes a person attractive. What I'm not looking for is a comparison of what people think is "sexy", but more of a from your life experiences, what conclusion have you come to on beauty.





Here's the question I would have you answer:


If given the choice of two people whose outer beauty doesn't match their inner beauty, would you choose the physically attractive, but relationally dull ... ... or... ... the person short in physical beauty but endowed with inner beauty?

The truth behind beauty? ... It truly is in the "eye of the beholder".

inner beauty, to me, is more important in the long run

I would think that although the person may be beautiful even gorgeous on the outside, nine time out of ten that usually fades with age. It would probably be better to be with someone who you are happy with and that their inner beauty not only is amazing but makes you happy.
Reply:I would say inner beauty,but because of the way society is, I think a lot of people would still choose the outer beauty.But once again,I should only be speaking for myself.

Reply:i would definitely choose the person short in physical beauty but endowed with inner beauty. you can only hold on to your physical beauty for 40 years or so from birth, whist inner beauty does not fade through time, in fact the more it's used and honed the more it is refined. there's no way im spendin my life with a woman whose relationally dull.

is this on a desert isle? Just for marriage? there are many aspects unexplained.
Reply:I would chose someone who had inner beauty. Over time, I would begin to find their outer beauty. On the other hand someone who has outer beauty and nothing to offer personality wise begins to become physically repulsive.
