Pleaaaase help me with my skin! i actually wanna cry!?

i usually have pretty good skin, at least for a 16 year old, with hardly any acne.

but today, I'VE BROKEN OUT ALLLL OVER MY FOREHEAD. it actually hurts, like stings; these pimples are really big and red and deep.

the worst part is that i when i try cover it all up with makeup, it peels off really weirdly, all around the zits.

but even worse than that, i'm leaving on a trip tomorrow! i'm so upset that this just HAD to happen the day before!

omg please help. don't tell me to learn to love myself (i do love myself) and don't tell me i'm superficial (i'm really not). i just want healthy looking skin since i'm about to meet all these new people, and don't want to feel tied to my makeup (which doesn't even work!)

any suggestions on how to actually FIX it? please please help me

Pleaaaase help me with my skin! i actually wanna cry!?
your skin problem doesn't sound like acne to me. Acne doesn't usually flare up that badly over night, nor does it cause such pain. If you have used any new products like soaps or lotions recently, you may be allergic to them. I would GENTLY wash my face with a familiar soap, using warm water and a washcloth. Afterwards, use Neosporin and apply a little bit to your bumps. While the condition probably won't clear completely by morning, it will be easier to conceal.
Reply:Spackling putty and a belt sander.
Reply:man it happened to me too! for a 16 year old i have like perfect skin, and today i woke up with 2 swollen pimples, im adding this to my watchlist.
Reply:Have you tried Proactiv??, I've seeing the comercials and It seems to work...

Good luck.
Reply:Are you sure what you have is Acne? If you are, then you have to try Proactiv solution. It's the best Acne medicine I've used. I have pretty good skin, but I do break out before my period or when I'm stressed out.

You can order it online or find it at some shopping mall. Proactiv.com
Reply:try proactiv.

or you can just wash your face with an oil free cleanser

and then use a toner

and then put moisturizer

or you can use a cream to put on the pimples over night
Reply:most people forget to wash thier foreheads , its so easy to forget , %26amp; dont wear makeup on your forehead , you could clear it up with metho (metholayated spirits ) it would clean the area but would hurt momentarily , or use a cleansing cream which would be better , available at any chemist ,
Reply:Acne comes and goes. I'm sure you'll be fine in a few weeks. Anyways I just wrote this for someone else...

Right now I'm experimenting with Herbal Logix cleansing gel or the acne cream. They went out of buisness so I buy my stuff on eBay. The reviews on acne.org were crazy and I couldn't say no. I'm also trying this french green clay stuff from mountainroseherbs.com .

I'm gonna go

1x week french green clay

1-3x week Herbal Logix

I've found that if I wash my face 1-2x a day it gets really irritated and it causes more ance. That's why I'm limiting the number of days I wash my face.

I think your diet is important too. Might wanna check out what you need to consume to help rid acne, as well.
Reply:Everyone is saying it but Proactive really works. They only down side is that it's really pricey. However, what's similar to proactive and cheaper is AcneFree. It can be found at walmart or Target basically any store. I used both. Proavtive works faster but Acne Free is a reasonable price. It's really up to you.
Reply:keep the makeup off as much as you can because it is oily and WILL clogg up your pores. when you have to be in public, wear mineral foundation like Sheer Cover or other PURE mineral solutions. the foundation should always be powder, and put on very lightly.

to try to get rid of the pimples:

-go swimming... the chlorene helps dry them out.

-put toothpaste on them over night

-((Proactive Solution))

-wash gently every 2 hours

-squeeze REALLY lightly with the ends of two Qtips

-try Neutragena. they have good stuff

good luck. have fun on the trip reguardless! ♥brianna
Reply:OK trust me

this works.

overnight, dab tea tree oil

over the pimple.

it will dry it out and should be gone ASAP.

:)
Reply:put moisturizer (OIL-FREE) on before you do your makeup. Powder will look weird around a zit so just use foundation I suppose.
Reply:The thing that bothers me is that you say that your skin stings. That is not a good sign. It means that your skin is still being affected by something. It sounds more like you are having a reaction to something. Right now you need to take emergency steps. Then you can deal with the other symptoms. Wash your face with the mildest cleanser you can. Do not use acne cleansers or treatments at this time as it can just make it worse. Apply a little cortisone cream and if you want a little ice to the are. Then wait 24 hours. If you still feel the stinging, see a doctor. Now I don't mean if you rub it and then slightly feel a sting. I mean if you sting by just simply barely touching it.

Also, have youbeen wearing any hats of caps lately?

Have you been around any substances that you may have accidently pick up on your hands and then wiped your forehead?

This is a toughy, I'm sorry I can't help you at this point, but I would have to see this. The best help I could give you is to seek out someone with experience who can see this condition themselves to give you the right answer.

Reply:This might sound a little nutty but stop using your makeup to cover them up. It sounds like you are having a reaction to something .

For a gift one year when I was about 15 my mother got me a makeover . The next morning I woke up with what looked like acne all over my face. It was a reaction to the makeup.

Wash your face with a gentle soap (aveeno for your skin type , dove, basis, purpose) and pat dry. You can try taking an allergy pill /antihistimine and see if it helps .

Good luck and if it doesn't clear soon (a day or two) I would make an appt to see your doctor
Reply:I get the exact same thing. To get rid of the strange peeling around the pimple, use a face scrub beforehand. Remove all the dead skin around the pimple; the makeup should then go on smoothly. Try using Proactive (or any similar acne-fighting solution) to dry out the pimple, but remember to use a face scrub as needed, or the skin will peel. Have fun on your trip! :]
Reply:I always use Clinique Acne Solutions Emergency Gel Lotion when I get a breakout. It is $13.50 and totally worth it. Good luck!
