I have excessively peely skin. How do I stop it and what's causing it?

For the past while, I have used Clearasil Ultra (Deep Pore Cleansing Pads) to get rid of my acne. I had a lot of skin irritation for a while along with the fact (I did wash my hands like the directions said), so I stopped using it a couple of days ago. The skin peeling started around the same time.

If it helps, these are the chemicals in the acne pads:

Salicylic acid, Water, Alchol Denat, Isoceteth-20, Hydrogen Peroxide, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Propylene, EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Butyparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben.

You need to find a good moisturizer. Do it right after you wash your face. If that dosn't help go ahead and stop using the wash maybe your elergic to something. What I use is Nutragina stress relife, It saved me from all my acne. You see a diffrence in about three days. But don't swich brands too offen or it could hurt your skin. Or maybe your not getting enough nutience. Make sure you do what the pyramid tells you along with eight, eight ounce glasses of water. I hope this helps.
Reply:You need to Exfoliate, and use a oil free moisturizer.use St.Ives Apricot scrub for acne prone skin, and find a oil free moisturizer.
Reply:The ingredients in the pad; salicylic acid, alcohol etc are drying, together with the washing, the rubbing, have dried your skin out. Peelin is caused when you irritate, then dry your skin, sometimes skin peels of in huge sheets such as after a bad sun burn, or on a more minute scale like what is happening to you. You need to talk with someone to get a rx. that is less drying.
