Perfect wedding day skin?

I have red areas, some red bumps, and a few pimples. I usually use cover-up, but I want perfectly clear skin for close-ups on my wedding day.

I just started a deep clean scrub with exfoliating beads. It seems to be helping. I'm also trying toner with salycilic (sp?) acid.

Is there something I'm missing that I should be doing? What worked for you?

What can I do for last minute breakouts? (I'm allergic to benzyl peroxide...)

Perfect wedding day skin?
Skin Ceuticals work miracles !!!

Its pricey but works .
Reply:the products you are using are really good, you will see great results with them. MAke sure you drink loads of water, literally carry a bottle with you everywhere and take a sip whenever you can because it flushes out the toxins and salts in your body.

It completely depends on what type of skin you have:

Oily skin: you generally have larger pores so you need gentle treatments. Harsh lotions and too much scrubbing can over-stimulate oil glands. Use a light lotion/ milk cleanser/ wash-off gel. TONE- usean alcohol based toner but only when it looks really shiny. Look for the work 'astringent' on lable. Tea Tree and Grapefruit oil are great too.

Sensitive skin- Treat it with as few products as possible, look for hypoallergenic or allergy tested products. Never use soap to wash your face it can upset your skins natural balance. Use a gentle cream lotion cleanser instead. To tone use tepid water and avoid toners. When moisurising use hypoallergenic cream.

Dry skin- Needs gentle treatment and lots of nourishment. Use a cream cleanser. Tone by using cold water to boost circulation. Rose water is a good alternative. Use a rich nourishing cream when moisturising both day and night.

really bad spelling mistakes up there, i apologise but im in a rush but i hope that helps!
