Hi My skin is light brown not too dark not too too light.?

My skin is not too too dark and not so light. I want to look tan like darker what colour of lipstick should I wear. I have dark brown hair and dark brown deep set of eyes please help me. When i wear browns everyone says I look sick. My face looks too washed out. Please help me.

Go to the Mac store and let them experiment on you and come up with something that is just for you and your skin tone. I know for a fact that Mac is great....I've been there a million times for my dillemas ( I think I spelled that wrong)...I will say it again 35.00 in products gets you a free make-over...You can get the makeover first and buy what you like after the fact...I promise you won't be dissappointed...You can even ask who's the most recommended make-up artist and they will not give you a new person....Good luck....

Reply:I have similar features and I wear red tones.....My favorite is the brand called Nars and the color is Shanghi Express. You can find it at Sephora.
Reply:I think u should try hues of pinks! also,.. you can go to the department store and set an appointment or walk in for a try out. My advice is clinique. Their makeup is light. and you might want to go for a 'natural' look. (when u wear make up but it doesn't look like it) they will help u enhance your natural facial structure and bring out what u already posses rather than make u all up. Keep that dramatic looks for evening wear. I know that someone suggested MAC but i think their makeup is a little heavy and if you live anywhere it gets warm heavy make up and feel suffocating.
