Tb skin test?

i had got the tb skin test and this was the first year that it showed up positive but my chest x ray was normal anywho its been almost a year and the round circle on my arm is still there and i want to know mabey they went to deep when giving it to me cause it did bleed a little and if they went to deep is it possible that the reason for the positive reaction was going to deep has anyone heard of this

You don't mention if it was the tine test (small pins in a circle) or the skin pop (hypodermic needle just under skin). False positives and inconclusive readings are not uncommon; but is strange that it would leave a mark. You should have had a sputum culture and chest ray x-ray at the time. If you have a positive reaction to the skin test, you should refuse to take the test again for there's a good chance of a bad reaction to the test in the future. You will take only the x-ray in the future and the sputum culture if necessary.
