I have these little zits under my skin that never go away. they never come to a head they just stay under my skin. u can really only see them if u get close to my face but i can see them really well i can feel them when i touch my face. they only way i can get rid of them is by popping them which really hurts and leaves my face red and swollen because they are so deep in my skin. ive used a couple of spot treatments and i wash my face but it dosent help.
Acne under the skin. Any fast cheap ideas to get rid of them?
I've got the same problem. Unfortunately I don't know of any Fast and Cheap ways to get rid of them but if are willing to spend some money, Proactiv acne treatment works a miracle!
Reply:Sists are never fun. I've a had a few before.
Sits take time to get rid. No one can really see them, so that's one plus. Though they do hurt. One way to get rid of them is to get them up to the surface. Which takes time. The oil from your hands can help. By just running your fingers over the spots, the acene will rise, and eventually you can pop them. (which a lot of people say not to do).
Another way is by using some acene treatment, if not, a dermatologist once told me that Dove soap is really good for clearing acene up. (it does too). But for the best way to find out how to get rid of sists is to talk to the dermatologist.
Reply:I have those also. My dermo said it was from swetting. Since I play basketball and go to the gym all the time, I tend to swet alot. He also told me that there isnt too much you can do for them, that they will start to go away if you just continue washing your face twice a day, eating healthy, and drinking plenty of water. I also use a gel called Ziana. It works like a charm! If you can get it, it is definetly worth your money. (It is expensive [$250], but if your insurance will cover it, its only about 40 dollars) . Plus it prevents breakouts.
But to me, there is no price on having clear skin. I feel so much more confident and out-going. I also use minocycline. Which is only like 10 bucks.
Both are prescription meds, so ask your dermo/dr.
Just make sure if you decide to try Ziana that you dont spend alot of time in the sun without sunscreen
Good luck!
:D
Reply:I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is a condition of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.
Here is a link :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidradeniti...
If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.
Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.
There is some support groups at MSN
(http://groups.msn.com/HidradenitisSuppor...
and yahoo, and I am open for questions!
I have had this for 8 years, I was misdiagnosed for a LONG time, It was very embarrassing, painful and scary. I am just trying to help out so you don’t have to wait as long as I did.
