Pigmentation is due to the deposition of melanin which is a coloring matter. The melanin is produced by specialized cells called melanocytes.

Reply:This is a question for a dermatologist. You can find one in your phone book. Good luck.
Reply:ewww try seeing a doctor
Reply:maybe you can, use natural things on your skin like honey on your lips, but I would more likely suggest this to a women, since it makes lips nice, smooth and redder.
you can always use natural home-made masks, which don't spoil the skin like apples, peach.
and fruits like that but ....
WARNING:
a person can use anything on its skin if he/she eates it but!!!!
do not use sour things especially with acids, IT'LL BURN YOU!
Reply:Eeewww? There's nothing gross about this. grow uppppp
So the question-asker, I would definitly see a dermatologist (skin doctor) about this! They will be able to help you and figure out what's going on here.
Reply:Yes I also agree that you should seek professional help regarding this condition. I have added a link below which may or may not be of some assistant depending on what your pigmentation issues really are.
Reply:Are you fair skinned? If so then a serious solution for you (that is not a slow-working fade cream) would be a FotoFacial, a procedure done at most Medical Spas that uses a laser to pull pigmentation issues to the surface of the skin. I have gotten it to fade skin damage and freckles and it works very well. It requires multiple treatments but the pigmentation will lighten drastically after each one as long as you use sun screen of 35 SPF or higher every day without fail. You should be doing this anyway as it is the easiest way to prevent further damage. This is a great (though expensive) option if you are serious.
