I have a deep scar on the bridge of my nose. the skin looks whitish now and the scar is quite indented as it?

was deep. Are there there any products I can buy to make the scar look better or will I have to save up till I can afford proper cosmetic surgery? Basically I don't want to waste money on products that don't work. I would rather save up the cash for cosmetic surgery

How long ago was the scar formed and how old are you?





Pale and indented scars will smooth and flatten gradually over a period of years and the younger you are the truer this will hold. Often scars that are very visible months after an incident are far less noticeable a few years later.





Also (again age related) consider the possibility that you may need glasses in later life which would hide the scar - particularly if either or both of your parents wear prescription glasses.





All these factors aside, there are dermatological creams that can aid natural regeneration or disguise scars short of of a surgical solution. The best option would be to consult a dermatologist as suggested above, particularly if applying topical creams so close to the eyes.

It is possible for fat from your buttox to be injected into the scar in order to minimize the dent or remove it entirely. You probably won't need surgery. But start with the dermatologist.

Reply:Vitamin E oil is really good at fixing scars! If you break a vitamin E capsule over the scar, it is said that it works wonders, but as i have said in one of my other answers, i use Palmer's cocoa butter formula with vitamin E, which moisturises and helps reduce the appearance of scars!!!!
