Small bumps under skin?

For years now, as I can remember, I have little lumps that are hard under my skin in random places on my body. Here is a list of where some are:

- Right forearm near elbow

- Left arm on underside a little closer to wrist than elbow

- A little bit under my left ribs

- On my inner thigh of right leg

- Behind my right ear

I think that's all of them. They don't hurt, unless I push on them a little and then it's a bit of pain but not much. You can push them around under the skin some, but not far really. They are hard, but not quite rock hard, and seem to be right under skin level or maybe a little deeper.

I haven't had any negative side effects to make me think it's any kind of sickness, I figured they were just natural. What made me post here is that the one behind my ear is new, so I was wondering. Also, I have a high intake of calcium in my diet, just for reference.

Any ideas?

Small bumps under skin?
I have had these since I was about 14 (im now 45) and have just recently had a new one appear I have about 10.

here is what they are.

A lipoma is a slow-growing, fatty tumor situated between the skin and the muscle layer. Often a lipoma is easy to identify because it moves readily with slight finger pressure. It's doughy to touch and usually not tender. You could have several that persist for years. Lipomas can occur at any age, but they're most often detected in middle age.

A lipoma isn't cancer and is usually harmless. Treatment generally isn't necessary, but if the lipoma is in a bothersome location, is painful or is growing, it should be removed.
Reply:maybe cysts... dude go to a doctor
Reply:Possibly uric acid from gout. Uric acid deposits usually feel like small bumps of "ice chips"
Reply:I guess you shouls visit your physician, it could be skin cancer
