Reply:keep in mind that acne starts to develop up to six weeks before you actually see it. You need to use a product continously for that amount of time before you may see results. I would suggest either keep w/ the product you're using or switch to something specialized for your sking type. My skin is the same way, it used to get really oily and break out occasionally. I use noxema, and it works great for me. You just have to be patient, becuause it will take time. I know that sucks, but unless you want to pay forty bucks for proactiv or get a prescription, just wait.
Reply:You may be experiencing a lot of stress or your hormones may be changing at this point. There's really a lot of reasons you are breaking out.

Reply:I'm an esthetician, which means I do skin care for a living. I would say it depends on your age. MURAD is a very good line, but expensive. Check out their website and only use as directed, it is strong (i.e. if it says leave on for 10 min, don't leave on for 20!). Some of my younger clients do well with Neutrogena products. I would recommend an oil-free cream cleanser. A gel cleanser can strip you of oil, making your body produce more. If you can afford it, go get a facial and ask your esthetician for at-home care advice. She may refer you to a dermatologist. Good luck, be patient and DON'T PICK! Scars are worse than pimples.
Reply:ok, i have have typed this so many times, i hope this is worth it.

Step one: go to walmart and go to the section with stuf for ur acne and pick two things out. face wash (i use aveeno) and any kind of acne solution u want (i use a product from Clearpore, its blue liquid that u put on ur face with a cotton ball).

Step two: one of the most important things about getting rid of acne is wash ur face twice a day, morning and night. do that with the face wash

step three: to make sure the acne solution u picked is right for you, start using it only once a day. if ur skin isnt peeling or all flaky then it is working, and u should start using it twice a day right after u use ur face wash. if it is bad, then the only solution is to go back to walmart and keep on searching until u find something that works for you

step four: DO NOT PICE AT UR ZITS. it will only make them worse. this is about as important as washing ur face is.

step five: if ur acne is extremly bad, have a doctor prescribe something to you. once you get the prescribed stuuf, use normal acne solution in morning and prescribed stuff at night (u still wash ur face twice a day). if skin is not peeling or flaky after a couple of days, start using both products twice a day

i hope all this helps u to get rid or ur pimples.

p.s. it might be about a month before u start seeing real improvement (sry, but its the truth) so dont freak out if all ur acne isn't gone in a couple of days. and don't use any makeup or that much hair styling products, both will make ur acne worse.

hope this has helped
Reply:You need products that are natural and GOOD for you! Arbonne has the Clear Advantage that will help the increase in hormone levels plus help with the oily skin and the breaking out in pimples. Pimples are a build up of impurities in your pores and you need to start with the inside as well as the outside. Reply:Okay. First of all, a good product with Benzoyl Peroxide will kill bacteria on the skin and help dry out existing acne. I tried the ProActive solution and found it BROKE my skin out WORSE. The best product with Benzoyl Peroxide is Thomas Peter Roth. They have BPO 5% Acne wash,

BPO 2 1/2 % Acne Pumice Scrub (once or twice a week) Aloe Tonic Mist (replaces your astringent and neutralizes skin ph) and a great alpha hydroxy moisterizer. I bought mine at the salon where I got my facials but Heres the website:

Okay. Now I use a product called Jan Marini. This is a Glycolic Acid based product. This has been the best for my skin. It made me break out, lots of little whiteheads, but this went away after one week. Because this product is so exfoliating, it makes EVERYONE break out at first, bringing up whatever is in the deeper layers of skin. This has by far been the best, second choice for me is the PTR products. Also I got the Jan Marini product where I get my facials. Heres a link:

Okay... these products are professional, and a little expensive. However, one purchase of the systems would give me 3-4 months of use. How often do you buy products at the grocery store or walmart? It is worth it to spend the money on some good skin care products. Also try to get a professional facial once every month or two, and listen to your estheticians advice, you will never regret spending that money. Email me if you want to talk more.
