And when its hot my skin turns a deep pink but thats not as bad!

I have no idea what wrong...

How do I solve this??

My skin turns blue when its cold!!??
That's not a skin condition..

It's human biology.
Reply:You have poor circulation. You should mention this to your doc but there is nothing you can do about it.
Reply:Go to your doctor. You could just have poor circulation but it could also be lupus or Reynauds Disease.
Reply:If you have really pale skin, I think this is normal. I would ask a doctor and see if it is normal, but naturally pale people burn and frostbite easier that not as pale people.

If you have more neutral or dark colored skin (anything that's not pale and sensitive), you should just see your doctor. It's probably not skin cancer or something.
Reply:I get this too (and i'm 18), my lips go blue, hands go purple etc. It's damn annoying, i know how ya feel. Unfortunately there's not too much you can do about it besides wrapping up warm, gloves and a hat etc, exercising helps too (cardiovascular sp? e.g. jogging)!
Reply:It's just a circulation thing. When you're cold you're blood doesn't circulate throughout your system as well. I'm very muscular and when I get a little dehydrated my veins bulge out like the freako competition bodybuilders on tv.

Try to drink at least 8 big glasses of water a day, it keeps your blood thinner and your heart doesn't have to work so hard to pump it through your circulatory system. Don't drink so much water that you make yourself sick, but try to drink at least 10 to 12 ounces per hour more or less. I think you'll notice a difference pretty quick... AND STAY WARM.

Feel for the artery on you wrist, like when they're checking your pulse rate. You can actually feel the difference in your veins when you're dehydrated or not.
Reply:Request a PT/PTT test and a CBC. These are blood tests that can indicate a problem with circulation. I agree that it is a circulation problem. But these tests will help the Dr determine treatment. I have the same problem with fingers and toes. Best wishes
Reply:You might try the website: Dermatlas.med. There are thousands of conditions with photos that may help you to identify your symptoms. There could be so many conditions that could cause this sort of issue. It does sound similar to Livedo Reticularis (a blood vessel disorder) which could become very serious. Our bodies have a way of warning us and we should never ignore something out of the ordinary. I would urge you to continue your pursuit until you get an answer that you are satisfied with. You are wise to ask.
Reply:if you're african american...then you have a problem...white???..then it's all right.
Reply:Mine does too, but it only happens in extreme temperatures. like the above posters have said, it sounds like poor circulation. If its poor circulation, go to a health food store, they should be able to give you some blood sitmulating vitamins. cayenne pepper is good, aswell as rosemary for stimulating blood flow. the reason your limbs go blue when cold is that the blood leaves them and stays close to your organs to keep them warm so you don't go into hypothermia, and the opposite for when your hot. it pumps the blood away from your organs to cool off, so you don't go into hyperthermia *heat stroke*. If the blue bothers you, try increasing your blood count. Eat red meats or other nutrient and iron rich foods.
