Help! Im male, 23 and i have plenty of these little humps of pus on my chest. They have been around for quite sometime. They are under my skin...looks something like a mosquito bite, just smaller, and evenly distributed. They are not obvious and has no color on the surface. They do not hurt and are not red like pimples...and the pus are deeper under my skin than pimples. I am sure they are not pimples and they appear only on my chest.
I can squeeze the pus out of some of them, but some are deeper, sometimes I get so annoyed I use a needle to pierce them, and the whitish pus would rush out.
I have seen a few doctors regarding this but they say its not cancerous and not harmful. But they look awful! sometimes they leave scars after i pierce them...any clue what are they and what can i do?
Ugly skin!!!?
Go see a different doctore and tell a little white lie...like that you have had this acne on your chest for several months...it just suddenly appeared and won't go away. Then the doc will give you a referal to the dermatologist, and WALLA...the dermatologist visit will be covered by your insurance and you will get to see a specialist about your skin problem. Doctors don't know crap when it comes to skin...I've had acne since I was 14. And I've been going to the dermatologist since I was 15.
Reply:didnt ur doctor tell yo what it was???
Reply:Read some useful skin care tips and more on this site to help you with it
Reply:First off don't pick at them... that's why they scar... your Dr. didn't tell you what they were, strange... Did you go to a Dermatologist or a regular Dr... I know with things like boils appling a little heat... like in the shower... maybe... sometimes hurries the healing process... I hate this for you... skin problems can be embarrassing... Hang in there... maybe some will know more...In the mean time try another Dr... Okay!!!!
Reply:Iv not heard of your condition before but i think you should get a medical book from the library and look it up!! Your almost garentee to find out what it could be.
But in the mean time i also think you should use bacterial wipes or Hydrogen Peroxide fluid over the spots to prevent infection and the Peroxide could also help to get rid of some of the puss in the skin, and keep pestering your doc for answers.
