I have deep brown eyes and medium fair skin. what kind of eye make up would be good for every day??
I have dark brown eyes and fair skin. I wear a lot of neutrals, greens and purples.
Reply:well I have green eyes I wear moonlite neon purple eye shadow sea fleur hot pink lipstick but my hair is dyed strawberry blonde lets see u said u have brown eyes and fair skin I have fair skin too but Im not sure what color hair u have I buy my makeup at kerr drug in my city of reidsville,n.c. with brown eyes maybe u should wear brown eye shadow to bring out your eyes light brown or maybe light blue color tell u what go to a drug store like kerr drug or cvs pharmacy were they have lots of makeup for cheap price and buy u a makeup kit try it on little by little see what best suits u ok? that way u can see for yourself and try some lip gloss to ok? hope I help some goodluck :)
Reply:If you want a natural look, make your eyelashes the main focus. Curl them (very important) and swipe on mascara. Skip the eyeliner and use a purple or green (flatters brown eyes) but if those colors sound too dramatic just use a pale version of it.
Reply:You should go to a department store makeup counter, or go to Sephora or Origins, and have them help you with a makeover. Explain the makeup look that you're going for (casual/natural). They usually explain what they're doing and how you can achieve the same effect, which is very helpful. Afterwards, you can either purchase their makeup, which will be good quality but unfortunately very expensive.

Or you can have them swipe each of the colors they used on a piece of paper, then go to a drug store and buy those same colors in a different makeup brand that's cheaper than the department store brands (i.e. cheaper brands like CoverGirl, Revlon, Max Factor, etc.)

Good luck, and have fun!
Reply:I would suggest using a light cream or taupe color all over the lid from lashline to brow. Nothing too light, no white...it will just look tacky. Use something that is just a shade or 2 lighter than your skintone. Then if you want to dress it up a bit more, use a shadow that's a soft brown (darker than your base color) in the crease. Try a shimmery shadow. It will look pretty and subtle. I love shadows from NARS. You are in HS so it may be a bit pricey, but they last forever and it is an awesome product line. (I used to be a make-up artist and it's my fav.)
Reply:try a sheer purple eyeshadow or deep purple eyeliner. it will make your eyes seem more awake. almay had the best set of colors for brown eyes, just dont load it on to heavily.

Reply:go smoky with the browns and taupes but you can also do cloudy too,,,,that's the grays with alittle black eyeliner.....
Reply:I have the same skin tone, with dark brown/blackish eyes. I work with people, both young and old, and I try not to make my make-up look too dramatic or bold. I first put on some eyeliner, only on the outer corner of my eyes, then I use a grey/green eyeshadow, and overtop this I put a pale shimmery pink so my lids glimmer.I then curl my lashes, and put on a waterproof, black Covergirl mascara so it stays on all day without rubbing off, and I found this mascara prevents caking, and clumping. It makes the eyes look sexy, and somewhat intimidating. Try it.
Reply:Okay, well, first off, you're very lucky! People with brown eyes, and I should know since I have brown eyes, are lucky because we can wear any shade of eyeshadow! i think that it looks good, though, to wear blues, golds, browns, pinks, and sometimes purples. Those are the best on people with brown eyes. Well, just for you info, I'm sending you a couple of links. The first one is a virtual make over so that you can test the make up on a model first, before you make yourself look like crap! The second is a video on how to do the smokey eye effect. This is (in my opinion) the best look on brown eyed people, or any people for that matter. I hope that this helps!!!

Reply:i have lite brown eyes and medium fair too. i use alot of neutrals like, browns, whites, lite blacks and black mascara. people say i look the same with or without makeup which is what i was going for. and nobody can tell if u use a lite brown hi-liter on ur upper lids. it almost blends with your skin and opens your eyes helping u look awake in like 10 minutes. i love the natural look.
Reply:I have the same complexion. I am way older than you. But this is what I wear. I use black eyeliner, with brown neutral color eye shadow and black mascara. To keep a nice natural look that brings out your eyes. Good luck
Reply:black eyeliner and black mascara
Reply:Have you ever tried a light brown, tan, or white! If you have dark skin, I would prefer White! It looks great!
